forward." (Accounting Manager)

Manager and Career Professional Resumes: As
a manager or career professional, you need a resume that highlights
your skills and experiences in a way that makes an employer
want to meet you. To be effective, your resume should not be
a career “obituary” or list of jobs and responsibilities. It must
highlight what you bring to the table in terms of skills, knowledge, and accomplishments.
Your resume is a marketing tool that sells
you to prospective employers. Use it to respond to advertised openings, to contact companies
and recruiters, to send to your networking contacts and references, and to
take with you to interviews.
Manager and Career Professional Resume Fees: The
resume development service includes an in-depth
interview via e-mail, fax, and/or phone. Prices to compose from scratch
or rewrite your resume range from $400 to $700 and are based
on the project’s level of complexity. If you want more than one version
of your resume for additional job targets, there will be an additional
charge. As a general guideline, fees for new graduates and people with less
than five years of experience start at $400, mid-career and mid-management
clients at $525, and engineers and high-tech at $600. Your resume drafts
will be emailed to you in Microsoft Word format and you will receive your final
resume in Word, PDF, and text-only format.
Mini Bios for Internet Sites: Savvy career professionals
know how to market themselves and network via business
sites such as LinkedIn. BWCR can prepare a mini bio for these sites. The fee
is $125 if ordered with your resume and $175 if ordered later.
Fees are higher for those whose resume was not written by BWCR.
Cover Letter Package: The package includes three
strategically written cover letter versions that you can use as
templates for creating targeted letters: one for responding to advertisements
for openings, one to be sent directly to companies in which you are interested,
and one for targeting recruiters in your industry. The fee for the package
is $250. Order it when you order your resume, and you will
receive a 10% discount.
Targeted Cover Letters: Letters targeted
toward specific employers are very effective. The fee for a targeted cover
letter is $225.
Networking Letters: Networking remains the most
effective way to find a new position, and networking letters are
crucial to the job search. The fee is $225.
Recruiter Letters: Letters to recruiters include
more personal information than cover letters. The fee is $225.
Thank-You Letters: Thank-you letters after interviews can
be the deciding factor. They impress employers, keep you fresh in
their minds, and give you an opportunity to provide additional information.
The fee is $175.
Acceptance, Declining, and Resignation Letters: These letters
are another important element of the job search. They range
from $125 to $175.
Reference List: Do not include a reference sheet with your resume unless
requested, but do take a list of five or six references to your interviews.
The fee is $75.
Reference Dossier: The reference dossier is an enhanced reference document.
It not only includes the names and contact information for your references
but also valuable information about your working relationship with the person.
The fee for this document is $125.
Business Profiles: Use a business profile to market your business to potential
clients, as a stand-alone document, or as part of a marketing package. The
fee for a one-to-two page business profile ranges from $300 to $500.
Interview Coaching: Preparation is crucial to a successful interview. Get
the extra confidence you need to excel in those interviews. Coaching can be
done in-person or via phone. Topics that can be addressed include answers to
typical interview questions, body language, questions to ask the employer,
phone interviews, and salary negotiation. The fee is $75 per 30 minutes or
less.
Job-Search Success System: Be sure to ask Betty about this system that will
help you set up a plan for finding positions perfect for you, tap into the
hidden job market, use internet techniques to research companies and industries,
overcome job search challenges, and much more. This service gives you access
to multiple live coaching calls each month, one-on-one coaching, and step-by-step
coaching audios and corresponding worksheets that are yours to download and
keep.
Customized Career Distribution Services: Once your resume and a cover letter
targeted to recruiters are developed, use our customized career distribution
service to send your resume to an unlimited number of retained and contingency
recruiters based on your career focus, industry preferences, and salary requirements.
A custom-addressed letter will be sent to each recruiter along with your resume
from your e-mail address. BWCR is invisible in the process. You will receive
a Microsoft Excel file with the address, phone number, and e-mail address of
each recipient. You will get maximum coverage at a cost-effective rate. Be
sure to ask BWCR about this important part of your job search. The fee ranges
from $195 to $250 and includes FREE text-only formatting.
